Why You Should Stay at The Nook Pinetop: A Northern Arizona Escape

by | Aug 15, 2023

It took me about 5 years of living in Arizona to know about the White Mountains. The White Mountains sit in northeastern Arizona, about 3 hours from Phoenix, which includes towns like Pinetop-Lakeside, Greer, and Show Low. It’s a high elevation range with beautiful flower-filled meadows, slow moving streams, and some of the tallest mountains in the state. If you’re looking to get out of the heat and the desert, visiting Pinetop is ideal. The Nook Pinetop is my favorite hotel in the white mountains. Let me tell you why!

WHERE IS THE NOOK PINETOP?

The Nook Pinetop is in Pinetop, obviously haha. It’s SUPER close to many attractions and good shops and restaurants. It’s within a half mile to two of my favorite coffee shops, Cycleogical Coffee and Pinetop Coffee House. It’s also a half mile from Red Devil Pizza, and a mile from The Den, which has local concerts! For outdoor recreation, it’s a mile from Woodland Lake Park, 30 minutes from Sunrise Ski Resort, and 30-40 minutes from some of the post popular hiking trails. In summary, it’s perfectly situated for all of your activities up north! CHECK OUT MY VIDEO BELOW for a preview- note this giveaway is closed.

THE NOOK PINETOP- ROOMS

Discover the limitless possibilities at the Nook, where every room is a unique experience. From cozy single beds to spacious family suites, we offer a variety of room styles to suit your needs. Take a sneak peek at all the available rooms HERE. During our previous visits, we had the pleasure of staying in two charming rooms – 103, fondly known as Bearadise, and 202, the enchanting Wolf Den. Don’t forget to check if your chosen room is pet-friendly before booking, as some may not be!

Each room is beautifully adorned with rustic decor and captivating murals, exuding a delightful outdoorsy vibe. On entry, you’ll receive a warm welcome box filled with refreshing coffee, tempting snacks, and water. And to add a touch of whimsy, we provide a fire starter and s’mores kit for a cozy campfire experience. Alongside a smart TV, your room also features a convenient kitchenette complete with a full fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, and a selection of dishes. This delightful amenity allowed us to enjoy homemade breakfasts, saving us some well-deserved cash. Unwind and embrace the comfort of our cozy rooms – a true sanctuary for your retreat.

THE NOOK- OUTDOOR SPACE

What truly sets The Nook Pinetop apart and makes it my absolute favorite is its incredible outdoor space. Nestled among beautiful pine trees, adorned with enchanting twinkly lights, it offers a haven of relaxation and fun. Picture yourself playing a round of mini golf, engaging in thrilling outdoor games like giant Jenga and Connect 4, or simply basking in the ample seating options while surrounded by lush greenery. And let’s not forget the cozy fire pits, perfect for cozying up on cool evenings. But that’s not all!

The Nook Pinetop even has a dedicated dog park, ensuring that furry friends can join in on the outdoor excitement. My husband and I had a blast running around and enjoying a friendly game of Jenga. It truly felt like home. And to top it all off, don’t miss the opportunity to indulge in the complimentary s’mores kit and gather around a crackling fire. Trust me, it’s an experience you won’t regret!
