the west fork of oak creek trail is one of arizona’s most beautiful fall hikes, but it needs a little more time to heal 💔

it was originally set to reopen in september, but closures due to flash flood risk & debris from the fire this summer have pushed the reopen date to 11/1/26 (for now!)

fall colors here usually peak late october/ beginning of november- so we’ll see if it opens & if it does, if fall colors are sticking around! 🍂🍁✨
