Outfit 1- Colorful Hiker!

– Hawaii Edition –

This colorful outfit is perfect for any outdoor activity. I wore this while adventuring in Maui, from short hikes to the beach to shops around town to lunch.

Take off the jacket and this outfit is perfect for Arizona desert adventures, or a warm summer evening.

pink jacket

REI Rainier Jacket ($90)

This is a great light rain or wind jacket. The inside will keep you cool, making it great for summer activities. I personally like to size up, to get more rain coverage on my thighs and because I think it is more comfortable. Absolutely love the color, too!

green crop top

Paragon Crop Top ($22)

This colorful crop top is perfect for the gym, or the trails, or in a casual setting. It is a really light, fun, and comfortable fabric. I wear it in the gym and for hiking like in the photo below. I do have matching shorts, but sometimes I prefer the mismatch. You’ll definitely stand out!!

green crop top

Senita Knock Out Shorts ($34)

Senita is an awesome company local to Arizona. They make high quality activewear AND they keep the price low. You may not find this exact color, but grab a fun color and pair it with a cute crop top!

hiking sandals

Teva Hurricane Sandals ($70)

These are my absolute favorite adventure sandals. They don’t give you blisters if you’re walking a lot. They’re also great for water hikes, casual use, etc. I love Teva more than Chaco! Teva forever.

I’ve lived in Phoenix, Arizona since 2014 and went on my first real hike in March 2015. Being in the middle of the mountains is an unbelievable experience. I promised myself from now on, I won’t live more than 15 minutes from a trail. I promise you’ll benefit from more time outside.

By career, I am a Physician Assistant, trained in Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Wilderness Medicine. I hope to use my knowledge to help prepare others to be safe outdoors. This is my prescription to you to GET OUTSIDE.
