Flagstaff is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours north of Phoenix via Highway 17. The drive up is beautiful, as you watch the change from dense Saguaro cacti to the Red Rock of Sedona to the dense pine trees of Flagstaff. It sits at about 7,000 ft elevation. It is 1.5 hrs away from the Grand Canyon and only about 30 minutes from Sedona, Arizona
