Best Areas To Stay in Phoenix

Whether you’re new to the area or you’ve been a few times, I wanted to separate this post into sections. “Phoenix” itself is huge, and the metro valley spans over an hour apart from side to side or top to bottom. So let’s section these best Phoenix hotels and stays into regions.

scottsdale

Many people who fly into Phoenix will choose to stay in Scottsdale, due to the density of resort and hotel options, proximity to hiking, and dining scene. And I don’t blame them, it’s a great place to stay near Phoenix. The Scottsdale border is only a few minutes away from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport,

phoenix proper

Of course, you can choose to stay in Phoenix. This may include Downtown Phoenix or the surrounding area. Staying in Phoenix itself is a great option for those who like city life and proximity to cafes, bars, restaurants, and events!

desert stays

One of the biggest draws to visiting Phoenix is enjoying the desert. Phoenix is part of the Sonoran Desert, which is the only region in North America with Saguaro cacti, and they are very special. If you’re looking for a unique stay surrounded by the desert, you’ll need to drive 45 minutes to an hour out of the city (either to the north or the east).
