where to go camping in sedona 🏜️✨ if you’ve been where to go camping in sedona 🏜️✨

if you’ve been wanting to camp in sedona but don’t know where to start… this is your sign 🙌🏼 whether you want something easy with amenities or a more remote, off-grid experience, there are so many amazing options here 🌄

here’s a quick breakdown to help you decide 👇🏼

🏕️ dispersed camping (free)
• free of charge 💸
• first come, first served
• no bathrooms or amenities 🚫🚿
• sometimes rough roads (high clearance helps) 🚙
• best for sunsets, privacy, and that true “in nature” feel 🌅

🏕️ developed campgrounds
• small fee required 💵
• some reservable, some first come
• bathrooms + amenities available 🚻
• easier access + closer to town
• best if you want convenience + less planning

✨ some of my favorite spots:
• loy butte rd / fr 525
• angel valley rd
• edge of the world
• schnebly hill rd
• pumphouse wash
• cave springs campground
• manzanita campground
• pine flat campground

there’s honestly nothing like waking up to red rock views, making coffee at camp, and watching the sunset from your site ☕️🔥

save this for your next sedona trip + comment “camp” for my blog post with google map links & more 🏕️
have you heard of this coffee shop?! ☕️🏜️ ive dri have you heard of this coffee shop?! ☕️🏜️

ive driven by this little place a few times & never really knew what it was & this time i noticed it was a coffee house so we stopped & grabbed a drink while we were camping in oak creek canyon in sedona! ✨

such a cute little stop!!
tomorrow’s full moon rises soon after sunset! if y tomorrow’s full moon rises soon after sunset! if you haven’t seen both at the same time, tomorrow is your chance! 🌖

(sunset is approximately 7:10pm & moonrise is 7:35pm)

my favorite spots around phoenix to see it:
📍coon bluff, salt river
📍top of ej peak, tonto national forest
📍lost dutchman state park
📍south mountain dobbins lookout
📍top of piestewa peak

highly suggest having a picnic while you wait for sunset & moonrise ☀️🌛✨
