📍lava river cave
•30 min out of the city
•less than 0.5 mi out and back to the cave
•family friendly but not dog friendly (dog can walk to it but not go in it!)
•20+ degrees cooler than outside!

my grandma (& grandpa) have been wanting to visit sedona for DECADES. they live on an island in north carolina, so it’s quite the trek to get here!

when I finally got the chance to take her, here’s what we did in a day (in may). highly recommend this if you’re taking older adults/ people that don’t want to hike/ first time visitors!!

🏜️ shop at art galleries of course (@tlaqsedona )

🏜️ eat downtown

🏜️ visit the chapel of the holy cross

🏜️ drive scenic highway 89A

🏜️ see the views from the airport mesa

🏜️ hike the short secret slick rock trail

this airbnb made me feel like i was living in a fairytale 🧚🏻‍♀️🐉

NOT sponsored, just a stay we booked & turned out more magical than i imagined!!

this magical airbnb in washington outside of seattle sat overlooking a river, had a trail down to the river that they excavated, multiple cute seating areas, fairy lights, trails, multiple hammocks, a bridge across the river… I just cannot, i was a giddy little kid back here 😮‍💨

who else would want to live here?!?
