Best 5 Leavenworth Restaurants

Leavenworth restaurants are something special, let me tell you. What’s a trip to a new place without trying the local food? This Washington mountain town is a historically Bavarian Town, meaning it’s full of German pretzels, beer, cider, and bratwurst. I don’t regret anything that I ate. I’m here to help you pick what you want to eat on your trip to Leavenworth.
BEST LEAVENWORTH RESTAURANTS
There are so many options in Leavenworth that you can’t possibly try them all in one visit. Options range from Brewing Companies, Pizza Shops, Beer Gardens, Ice Cream Shops, Grab-and-Gos, and more. Be aware, some restaurants are closed on Holidays and weekdays. Let’s review the options!
Rein Haus is definitely one of the most popular restaurants in Leavenworth. It is very central to the downtown area- close to parking and walking. You’ll notie the line is always out the door- for good reasons! I love that this restaurant has indoor seating as well as balconies looking over the town. The waiter hooked me up with a private balcony at the time (because I was alone, lol). This is a must-try Leavenworth Restaurant.

The atomosphere at Icicle Brewing Company is SO MUCH FUN. The exterior drew me in, but the fun kept me there. Their menu is limited in terms of full means, but their drinks and apps are to die for. they have an indoor downstairs where they have live music, and on Mondays they have BINGO NIGHT. I ws lucky enough to go on a Monday, and I played Bingo (& won!) for hours. It’s a good way to meet people and interact with the staff. Definitely one of the best Leavenworth Restaurants.

One of my favorite Leavenworth Restaurants was Leavenworth Pizza Company. I know it’s not typical Bavarian Food, but it was delicious. The service was quick and the food was great! I always love when pizza shops do pizza by the slice, if you don’t want to pay for a whole slice, or if no one is sharing it with you.
RECOMMENDED MEAL: Iron Goat Pizza by the Slice (Feta, Balsalmic, Pepperoni, and Greens), Shareable Pretzels, Beer

Baren Haus is another place that should be on your list of best Leavenworth restaurants to check out. They’ve got delicious german food and of course, beer. I love the cute sign on the outside, too.
Whistlepunk Ice Cream is definitely the most popular dessert restaurant in Leavenworth, and for good reason. Every day the line was at least 20 minutes long. I decided to wait, and man the smell inside the store is soooo good. My Salted Caramel Waffle Cone is to die for.
