Visiting Watson Lake is a MUST on your list of things to do in Prescott, I promise! The beautiful granite dells with the surrounding mountains and the mirror-like water at sunset when everyone is done with water adventures: it’s so magical. The best spot (in my opinion) to watch sunset without a hike is to drive into Watson Lake Park ($3 fee) and drive straight until you go up the hill where the pavillion is. Park there and walk wherever you want to watch sunset. PS- photos are better once the sun goes beneath the horizon.
